Ethics Deadline Approaching
To see if your Ethics requirement has been completed and recorded:
Login to our IMS System here. (link will open in a new tab)
1. Under “Menu”
2. Choose “Education & Events”
3. Choose “Personal Education Tracking”
4. Check for completion under “Cycle 7 Code of Ethics”
If your record status shows pending, but you have completed a Code of Ethics training course online, or with a provider other that CTAR or NAR after January 1, 2012, please upload your certificate of completion here.
Failure to complete the course by December 31, 2024 will result in membership suspension until course completion, regardless of the status of dues payment. Suspension of services includes all Board, State Association and NAR dues-based services.
(NOTE: the core course you took for license renewal is NOT an NAR code of ethics course)
Option 1- Virtual/Live CE Courses at CTAR
These CE courses offered through CTAR satisfy the ethics requirement (for NAR) and provide 3 to 4 hours of elective CE credit (for LLR or CTAR).

Option 2: Online CE Course
The online CE course “2022/2024 Association Ethics v1.0” accessible through the following link, satisfies the ethics requirement (for NAR) and provides 2 hours of elective CE credit.

Option 3: The NEW Online Free NAR Ethics Course (with no CE credit) Has specialized content for residential, commercial, and appraiser practitioners
The online course offered by NAR is available at no cost, meets the NAR Code of Ethics requirement but does not qualify for any CE credit in SC.
