CTAR Leadership Development Program
CTAR Leadership Development Program provides Realtor members who have an interest in taking a leadership role in their Association and community the education and training to enhance and develop their leadership skills.
During three interactive training sessions, you’ll collaborate with other Realtors®, sharpen your communication, networking and leadership skills and have the opportunity to learn from some of the most dynamic leaders in our community.
– You must be a licensed Realtor member in good standing to participate in the Realtor Leadership Development Program.
– You must be available to participate in all three sessions (October 11, 25 and November 15)
– Submit the $400 tuition* by October 1

Session 1 . Teambuilding and Communications
October 11, 2017 . 9:30 am-Noon at Duvall Events
Get to know your new leadership class teammates during this fun and hands-on brunch–you’ll work together in teams with a chef from Duvall Catering to create a delicious meal to enjoy as you network with your new teammates.

“Leadership and Communication” with Cindy Grosso
Spend the afternoon learning how the finer points of communication etiquette, media training and communication of your personal brand will help you grow your business and develop both personally and professionally.
Session 2 . CTAR and Community Leadership
Preparing for Leadership
October 25, 2017 . 10 am-3 pm location TBD
In our second session, you will hear from some of the best and brightest leaders in Charleston’s business communities that will help you build a solid foundation for taking a leadership role. We’ll also delve into the concept of Mindfulness in Business, and how integrating mindful practices into your routine can help you take your business to the next level. Lunch will be included in this session.

Session 3 . Effective Leadership
Effective Leadership and Graduation
November 15, 2017 . 10am-5 pm location TBD
Spend the final day with your team and hearing from business executives who have mastered the craft of leadership. They will share their secrets as to how they manage some of Charleston’s largest events and businesses. We’ll also spend part of the day doing an interactive exploration of the theory of Polarity Thinking and how it can be a gamechanger for your business and personal ventures.
Lunch will be served during this session and a graduation cocktail celebration will be held immediately after the program ends.
