The Legislative Division of CTAR is designed to protect and enhance the quality of life of those living in the Lowcountry by creating a favorable relationship within the government and law making bodies.

The Legislative Committee helps monitor local, state, and national legislative issues that affect quality of life issues and the real estate industry, review concerns and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. They also interview candidates running for local and statewide public offices, hold an annual legislative reception, and generate funds to be used for political activities.
