Dues information
2012 REALTOR® dues are $396. Dues are prorated for new members depending on the date they become active. The State Association charges a $25 new member fee that is paid along with the dues.
CTAR accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Dues Billing Timeline
Early October – invoices are emailed to members
November 1 – invoice due date
December 1 – dues increase by $50
December 31 – unpaid REALTOR® memberships are terminated
Please note, if an office’s Designated Realtor has unpaid dues as of the deadline, all agents in his/her office will be terminated regardless of their payment status. In order to attain membership after termination, all outstanding balances must be paid, membership must be re-applied for, and orientation must be completed.
Dues Disallowance for Lobbying Deductions Under 1993 Federal Tax Legislation
Members are advised that the following portion of their dues is a non-deductible expense, directly attributed to the lobbying expenses of NAR, SCR and the Local Board/Association: NAR| $37.00 SCR| $14.00 Local| $ 6.00 Total $57.00
