Congratulations to the 2014 Charleston Realtors® of the Year, Rob Woodul (residential) and Dan Henderson (commercial)!

Each year, we honor one residential and one commercial Realtor®, who is nominated by their peers and colleagues for achieving excellence in business, contributing to their community and for exemplifying all the characteristics of a Realtor®.

Rob Woodul is a Louisiana native but a proud South Carolinian who is committed to his profession, his family and his community.

As broker-in-charge of one of Carolina One Real Estate’s Charleston Central office, one of the area’s largest, Rob has led his team to be the top-ranking brokerage in units closed for 2 consecutive years and runner up in profitability.

He has served as a volunteer leader with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® (CTAR) and the South Carolina Association for more than 15 years, serving as President of CTAR in 2011, and is currently MLS President. In these leadership positions, he was quoted as a Charleston real estate market expert in the Washington Post and New York Times.

Rob also gives of his time and leadership skills to local organizations like the MS Society, Susan G. Komen, and the Charleston County Board of Zoning Appeals.

Prior to his current position, Rob was Director of Growth and Development with Carolina One Real Estate and also worked as CEO/Broker-in-charge for Keller Williams’ Charleston and Mount Pleasant offices.

He is a graduate of SCR Leadership, Leadership Charleston, and the University of Louisiana, Monroe. Rob is also a member of the Mardi Gras Krewe of Endmyion, which provides funding for New Orleans-area church charities.

Dan T. Henderson Jr. is a native South Carolinian, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky and a Masters degree in Business and the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Designation.

Henderson joined the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors in 1994, specializing in Brokerage, Investment and Development of Commercial Real Estate. Henderson formed Coastal Commercial Brokerage Group, now CCBG REAL ESTATE GROUP, in the fall of 2003. Before forming CCBG Real Estate Group, he was a Commercial Broker at a few leading Charleston Area firms.

Henderson has served on various committees at the Association including the Board of Directors from 1999 to 2001, President of the Commercial Investment Division in 2013, and currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee.

Henderson is also an Adjunct Professor and Interim Director of the Carter Real Estate School at the College of Charleston. For the past three years he has written a monthly Real Estate Column in the Charleston Mercury.

Henderson is very active in the Local Community he has served on many Non-profit Boards, and currently serves on the City of Charleston’s Municipal Golf Course Commission and the Late Night Activity Review Committee. He is Member of Saint Andrews Church and an Associate member of the French Huguenot Church.
