It is an intensive coverage of SC License Law as re-written in 2017. Repairs (Line-by-Line)

This course is a line-by-line explanation of Repair Procedure, Due Diligence, selling “as is”, and Repair Requests (Form 525). You will learn what inspections to do before the contract is signed; how the disclosure statement fits into the process; and why the home inspection may just be the beginning. You will also get tips for which repairs to request and negotiating repairs

Contracts (Line by Line)
December 3 | 1pm – 5pm | Instructor: Carol Simpson
(CEE3063) 4 hours of elective credit

This course is a line-by-line explanation of every paragraph of the SCAR Contract Form 310. One-fourth of the time is allocated to Paragraph 8 (Repair Procedure) and Form 525 (Repair Requests). Because the class is taught by a lawyer, you will receive tips beyond “ask an attorney” and will actually have the opportunity to ask an attorney. While not reviewed in detail, you will learn how 14 other forms relate to the Contract.
